PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.
Cookies are stored on your computer browser. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
Web Beacons, Tags & Pixels
“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain personal information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number). We refer to this information as “Order Information” or “Account Information”.
Other than as provided for in this Policy, we won’t share or disclose this kind of information unless we get your permission. Other information that we collect may not identify you personally. This kind of information may be shared or disclosed in an aggregate form, used to personalize your experience, and so on.
When you use our Services (the Site) as a Visitor, we may ask for information about your preferences and interests to personalize your experience and help you find what you need.
To use some aspects of our Services, you’re required to create a askheide.co.za account and become a Member. To become a Member, we require that you provide us with your email address so we can contact you. We may also ask you to tell us your name and/or surname so we know who you are.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).
Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
– Communicate with you;
– Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
– When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
We use the information we collect about you and the information that you tell us about yourself for the following general purposes:

· To communicate with you about our Services and your account
· To provide customer support
· To personalize your experience with our Services
· To track usage of our Service and run tests to improve our Services

When you make a purchase through our Services, you’ll need to provide billing and payment information to complete your order. We make use of the Payfast payment processor, which is a payments processing service enabling easy, secure and instant online transfers from SA’s four biggest banks (ABSA, FNB, Nedbank and Standard Bank).
Your payment will be processed directly by our Payment Processor and we’ll never have access to or store your full payment details.
After your payment has been completed, you will be notified of the successful transaction, and we can immediately start processing your order. Downloads are available immediately after payment was processed successfully.
When you use a credit or debit card to pay for your purchases, you’ll be asked to enter your credit or debit card number, CVV, and billing contact information. When you submit your order, this information will be sent directly to our Payment Processor. After your payment is processed, the Payment Processor will send askheide.co.za some details about the transaction so that we can record your order in our database and provide access to the materials that you purchased.
When you use our Services as a Member or a Visitor, we receive and collect certain information from your browser and your device such as your Internet Protocol address (IP address), device information, operating system, browser type and version, and browser country location. This information helps us defend against fraudulent activity or attacks, maintain the security of our Services, and improve and personalize your experience.
We also log data related to how Members and Visitors use our Services, including cookies that may uniquely identify your visit or account. This log data includes details such as what pages of our Site or App you visit and when, how users navigate through the Site, and visit referral URLs. This information allows us to better understand how our Services are being used, helps us make improvements, and enables us to personalize your experience with our Services.
From time to time, we may host and provide Members and Visitors the opportunity to participate in contests, sweepstakes, and surveys. If you choose to participate, you may be asked to provide Personal Information which may be used for purposes necessary to administer the contest, sweepstakes, or survey, or for other marketing purposes.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We might share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site (you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. Finally, we respect and comply with legal obligations and may release information (including Personal Information and information about your account activities) in cooperation with a law enforcement investigation, in response to a valid legal request such as a court order or legal subpoena, as part of the process outlined by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), or to defend, protect, or exercise our legal rights.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. You can opt out of targeted advertising by unsubscribing from our mailing list, using the link at the bottom of an email we sent.
DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. At Askheide, we take children’s privacy very seriously. Askheide’s Services are directed at and intended for use by adults only. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you should not use or attempt to use our Services or send any information about yourself to Askheide. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under the age of 18, we will take the appropriate measures to promptly remove that information from our Services.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that Askheide may have collected Personal Information about your child, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. We’ll work with you to make sure that information is removed from our Site.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Your Rights and Options
At Askheide, it’s important to us that you have the ability to make choices about your personal information, so we provide you with options for managing your account and the information you give us.
You can view, update, and correct the information you’ve provided about yourself by visiting your My Account page. You can also remove any of the optional information you’ve provided. Information that is required will be indicated as such and can be updated but cannot be removed.
If you don’t want to have an account with us anymore, you can close (remove) your account at any time by clicking on the Delete Account link on the My Account page. If you do completely remove your account by clicking on the Delete Account link, you will no longer have access to previously purchased downloadable files, and you will have to re-purchase them. You will also not have access to previous order information.
You can always register a new account after you have deleted your account, using the same email address, but you will not have access to any prior transaction information.
Askheide.co.za uses your contact information to communicate with you about our services and to provide notifications related to your account or activity. Certain communications related to your account or your activity are required and you can’t opt out of receiving them. These include, but aren’t limited to, purchase-related notifications, notifications related to changes that have been made to your login credentials or account details, and legal notifications.
Other communications may not be required such as announcements about our Services, newsletters and messages with information you might be interested in, and other marketing and promotional messages (“Optional Communications”). You can manage your preferences related to Optional Communications in the Email Preferences section of your account, or by using the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any Optional Communication you receive.
Access to your askheide account is secured by the auto-created password when you register an account. For your security, we store only a hashed version of your password, which means that we don’t know your password and your password isn’t visible to us when members of our team view your account.
To prevent unauthorized access to your account, a unique, difficult-to-guess password will be generated which you’ll receive via email, and you shouldn’t share that password with anyone else. Whenever you use a shared computer or other shared device to access your askheide account (for example, a school computer or computer at an internet café), be sure to log out of your account completely before you leave your workstation, uncheck the “remember me” option at login, and select “no” if the web browser prompts you to save your login credentials. You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
You can change or update your password anytime by visiting your My Account page (only select a difficult-to-guess password). If you forget your password, you can request a reset password link.
ADS AND LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
There are places throughout our Services, such as advertisements and other links, where you can access websites owned and operated by third parties. The terms of this Policy apply only to our Services and websites and do not apply to any third party websites that may be linked to or accessible from our Services. We can’t guarantee the privacy and security standards of other websites, so if you choose to access these third party links, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with the privacy policies and other terms applicable to those sites.
